Hi everyone,

After months of research and planning, I've finally completed my new HT:

60" LCD TV - Sony KDF-60XBR950
Receiver - Denon AVR-3805
DVD - Denon DVD-2200
CATV/HD - Motorola 6200
Power center - Monster HTS5100 signature series
Sub - Velodyne SPL1200II
Speakers - Niles DS6.3 (6.1 in ceiling)
Custom built-in entertainment center designed and built by Woodwork Creations (www.woodworkcreations.com)

This is located upstairs in a new 320sqft loft addition. Next week we'll receive our new sectional sofa.

It looks and sounds incredible. So, what do you all think? Did I do OK?

Eric

$$$$$$$$

What was the final cost of the cabintry?

Thanks Gene :) I pride myself on being a neat freak.

As for the foam, I have some on order, but it just hasn't arrived yet. I tried my best to read all of your tips before embarking on this project.

Thank you all for providing such good information on this board!

Aliixer,

The total cost on the cabinet was $4900 installed.

Wow,
Simply beautiful. Great job.

Just one more suggestion and please don't take this the wrong way, but if you could possibly integrate some bookshelf speakers for the mains and center into your cabinetry this should yield even better sonic results. I realize aesthetics (spelling?) play a big role in making decisions, but we usually only recommend in-ceiling speakers as a last resort. Just something to think about in the future.

great job

Eric,

sweet work on that one. can you comment a little on the in-wall speakers ? do they give you a decent sound or are they inefficient as alot of people say ? does the 3805 have any trouble gettng enough juice to them for a solid sound ?

the set-up is certainly something to shoot for in the future in little green guy city.

Hey Eric, you can come over my house and improve my multimedia room anytime. Good Luck to you, it's beautiful

Mr.T
