I will be changing out the receiver tomorrow for another Yamaha (RX-V661). We are also moving toward the end of this month so in the new living room the 550's will now be more apart from each other and wife will finally allow me to get a better sub (trying to convince her on 2 SVS SB-12Plus). Other than that all my gear is in my sig.

Yeah and it is still going strong. And we have been abusing the crap out of the strum bar. We took the entire Rock Band gear past saturday night to a friend of my wife's house who has a PS3 and had a blast. It was 7 of us having a great good time. Rock Band is definitely up there with the Wii as party gaming is concerned (or in our case, drunken party gaming).

Too bad you can't play with 2 guitars yet. The wife likes GH better. I'm probably gonna return it.

Click to expand... My wife loves GH but after 2 weeks with Rock Band she says that it is a lot better than GH. She enjoys the ability for us to play together with the different instruments and not just against each other like GH.

That's what we like to do. She usually plays lead guitar and I play bass. She didn't like the Strat controller. She prefers her old GH guitar. I keep flip-flopping between returning RB or not. I like the game, but I'm hella pissed that they said it would work with other guitars and it doesn't!! Yet the 360 version works with the GH 3 guitar!!! It seems like false advertising to me. They advertised it as being able to play as a whole band, (lead, bass, drums and singer), and on the PS 3 you can't.
