all set up and running, and I love it!

I'm no audio engineer or physics major, as alot of you well know, but big thanks for all of your reviews and recommendations, without 'em, I never would have narrowed down all of the choices out there! You guys are great.

Enjoy. I have one and it does a fine job.
How long did it take you to finish the set-up?

I'm for sure getting this sub once it's in stock! where did you buy it from? parts express is out of stock but i'll jump on it right away.

how it the crossover and amp? sound? would it be better in a vented cabinet (possible future cabinet build)

just unsure if I should get 12" or 15"

I picked mine up off of craigslist from a crazy looking mountain man up near Estes Park, CO. So I got it for quite a deal.
I don't use the crossover, running LFE direct, so my receiver handles that. To me it sounds very direct and punchy, no alot of boominess. I personally really like the sound across it's entire range and wouldn't want to see it in a big ported box.

J_Garcia, I did read that whole review and after owning the 15" I really agree with Tom, this is one of the best sounding subs out there and worth it at twice the price

Sometimes, when you go to pick up a sub from a crazy looking mountain man in CO, you start hearing a banjo and things go really bad in a hurry...really bad Clark...:D

Haha....I've bought a lot of things from craigslist. This was the first time I felt a little bit of concern when picking something up. It was a hell of a drive to pick it up, but it's a really scenic route, so I didn't mind that part. Had to turn off the main road onto an unpaved road, head up around the back backside of a mountain to a very secluded area...could have gone very bad, very bad indeed...I've seen a movie or two
