I finally bit the bullet and bought a TV.

After over a year of banging my head over technologies and weighing pros against cons, I finally did it.
So, the set I picked up is the Mitsubishi 52" DLP WD-52631. Well, I didn't pick it up today because it wasn't in stock, but it will be delivered in about 3 weeks.
I had looked at the set before, but not as seriously as I did today. The other TV I had narrowed down to was the Sony 50" SXRD. I wasn't able to do a side by side comparison in the store, but while I was watching the Mitsubishi, I was much more captivated by the picture than I was with the Sony. Also, regular DVD content looks really good on the Mitsubishi, while it wasn't too astounding on the Sony. That was one of my big requirements. The colors on the Mitsubishi also seemed richer. Perhaps this is due the 6-color color wheel while the Sony only has red, green and blue.
For a while I also heavily considered LCD, but I am just really sensitive to the pixels on them and the lack of dark black levels bothered me. I can't do plasma because of my altitude, plus I had seen too many with images burned in them, so that was a big turn off. Anyway.
In a way I still feel uncertain about the TV. I'm always that way whenever I make such a large purchase. Rethinking myself, wondering if I truly made the right decision, wondering what might go wrong, etc. etc.

I really do hope it works out. If all else fails, I'll return it (minus 10% restock) and keep looking. If I do end up keeping it, then the 5 year extended warranty I opted for should hopefully provide peace of mind.
Is there anyone else who has this set, or has experience with it? Anything not obvious that I should know about or find useful? I'm going to search around and see if I can find recommended picture settings for the unit.
