Finally around to buying an Emotiva cd player......

Looking for a while, and finally decided to pick up an Emo disc player. Been watching the ERC-2 for a long bit, and decided to go ahead replace the old Pioneer Elite player in my 2-channel music system.

The ERC-2, beyond being a solid redbook player, visually perfectly matches the other components in my setup. Rad!

Oh, wait.....now they only have the ERC-3, which doesn't work for me, even being the same player internally, just doesn't do it visually. Bastards. Used market is non-existent for Emo.

I bought one used on here, they pop up now and again... I seen the erc3 in person, really nice unit, I believe if you ask they will give you the silver side plates to match your gen 1 gear...

Not just the natural aluminum plates, , but the asymetrical design of the face. A cd player, once well made is just a cd player and all generally the same, so the aesthetics of it is a massive factor in the desire to change.
