Final Decision Advice: EMO LMC2 or Elite

Here's the deal, I have my Sunfire Amp that I don't want to give up. I'm intrigued by the new Emotiva Pre/pro that coming, but at the same time I've been considering the Pioneer Elite 96.

Cost aside, and forget that the amps in the Pioneer are a waste in my setup and look at strictly from a performance/feature issue as opposed to value or bang for the buck. Which would you get?

I'm thinking that the Elite would have better overall performance in the processing of video and audio... which will be being fed to it from a HTPC/Media Server. Again, forget about price and that it doesn't make much sense to have a receiver when I already have a seperate amp.

I want to know more about the DMC-2 flagship model. The LMC-2 pre-production looks great, but I want the DMC-2.:D

I vote for the LMC-2.

I don't know what the Elite uses, but I believe the LMC-2 will use the Genesis chip which is supposed to be good.

I just had great conversation with the folks at Emo, the DMC-2 is way down the road... they're not even decided on what it would include at this point. I took it to be more of an evolution rather than a different piece that had a tone of additional different features from the LMC-2. Regardless it's not happening this year, but from my conversation... I feel more strongly about the LMC-2.

I want the LMC-2. Can't wait until first impressions from people before plunging in.

Anyone have any idea how the Genesis chip compares to the Reon?
