What amp is it? You are picking up RFI.

How are your cables routed? How short are the runs?

How long is the RCA cable?

When you say through the tweeter: Do you mean just ONE tweeter or both?

Switch the RCA cables on the back of the amp and check right speaker now for the sound.

Take the RCA going into the RIGHT channel of the amp and switch it with the left.

You can't change the polarity on and RCA cable. They are monaural by design.

You got it. On the amp swap the positions.

That is because the radio is picked up by he speaker leads and fed back through the negative feedback of the amp. This was a huge problem with amps from the seventies.

You solution is an RF choke in the speaker lead +ve terminals at the back of the amp, not the speaker end.

You need a low resistance choke, not a cheap Rat Shack one.

One like this HC1536W. You will need two of them.

If he has a long RCA run coiled up that 'could' be the culprit.

How long are the cables?

It could but speaker leads are much more common. He can tell by just unplugging the RCA leads and seeing if he still has the noise.

ok il try to pull the rca cable and see what happends im hopeing thats all it is. i noticed i had it dangling in the air over the speaker wire and since i lowered it to the floor it got quieter but is still there the radio noise. yes the rca is coiled on the floor i would say its about 20 ft maby or 15

Switch it to tuner and see if it's set to the same channel. If it was, you have bleed-through. Clean your controls and switches.
