Possibly for sale is the HSU STF-2 subwoofer. It is in perfect working condition and no scratches or dents cosmetically, I would rate it an 8.5/10 to be safe. I have owned it for over a year, and am the second owner.
It is a great musical sub, and does a fine job for HT as well.

Does anyone else find it funny that Hsu has a sub called the STF-2?

Think about it... say it fast... Hsu STF-2? No? Still don't get it?!?! The sub talks to you through its name!

You should disclose that locale. :)

Free bump for awesome gear. :D

Single Tuning Frequency for the STF
Variable Tuning Frequency for the VTF

Crap! I can't believe I forgot to list where I am located!

Unfortunately, I am located in Houston, TX

edit: I have no boxes, packing materials, etc. If you would be willing to pay for those + shipping, I would ship it to ya.

Oh man!! I used to live in Houston, but it would probably be way too far to ship and still keep the costs where I want it...unless you have a shipping hook up or something.

I live in Houston and I'm interested. 77024 to be exact. :D

How long did the previous owner have it for?

A picture or two would be helpful.

I was about to purchase the STF-1, but then saw this offer. I'm fairly certain you're the same person from the craigslist add?

Just finished setting it up and I've been sampling my music collection. So far I am very satisfied. Just bookshelves definitely weren't cutting it.

Can't wait to watch some movies with it. :D

Great to hear. What kind of bookshelves are you using? Depending on the bass they produce, you can set the crossover to 90 or so to get more bass.

I'm using a pair of Audioengine A5's. They produce a surprising amount of bass with only 5" woofers. They're supposed to go down to 50Hz, but I have the crossover on the sub set to 90Hz, which sounds best in my opinion.
