I have no complaints about the forums, only a suggestion. i would suggest a sticky thread in the forsale/trade section for buyers/sellers to post feedback on a sale or purchase. If i buy something it would be cool to be able to just browse a feedback thread for a persons feedback. There may already be something on the forums in place for this, but i havent found it yet.

Thanks,
Tommy

Maybe something like heatwear could be implemented? http://www.heatware.com/

Otherwise someone would have to either manually tally all the points or the user would have to go through all the threads individually .

One of the other forums i frequent, Has an open thread for feed back. All a person has to do there, is use the search to find a post with a members user name in the title. That forum dont have a points system. When the poster gives feedback for another member he simply titles the post with the members user name or "feedback for John Doe". Im not familiar with the "heatware" software, but if it would allow user feedback, im all for it.

Thanks,
Tommy

Vancouver civics has a Feed back sub-forum. Someone can start a thread after a purchase, and they keep a score on the thread title.

Example thread title:

'Sheep 10-2-1'

10 = Positive. You are happy with your interaction

2 = Negative. Not pleased and weren't able to come to an agreement.

1= Neutral. Not incredibly pleased but you still completed the transaction.

In this thread, someone would post a reply after a transaction, or after dealing with the member regarding the transaction. Posts would have a format to avoid confusion.

Example Feedback:

'Positive.

Sheep was a bulging moose, and swept me off my feet.'

A moderator (WHO WOULD NEED TO CHECK FREQUENTLY) would edit the original thread and adjust the score after every time feedback is given.

This system works. It just needs a moderator to keep on top of it.

That sounds better than what we are currently using :p
I have feedback on another forum, but if i had some deals here, i wouldnt have to link people to another forum to see my feedback.
Thanks for your input Sheep.

Peace,
Tommy
