I've ordered from cooler guys before, albeit through other websites like Amazon and Newegg and have always had a good experience. Personally I would skip the cooling stand unless you have other components you want to put on top of the A51 or unless the aesthetic is something you really need. Personally I would get a power adapter, Temp controller, and single larger fan all of which you can get from cooler guys. The larger fan will move more air while moving at a slower speed which keeps noise down. The Temp controller will automatically turn the fan on and off so you never have to touch it once the setup is complete all for around the same price.

I received a 120mm fan with a thermal controller and power supply from cooler guys for an x-mas gift. I believe it was purchased through amazon. The thermal control does not work. The 4-pin connector from the power supply does not power the unit unless you manually hold the plug in with some force. The thermostat seems to be off as well - with power supplied, the fan constantly ran despite being 10-15 degrees below the threshold for turning the unit off. I believe that my unit was returned to amazon as their appears to be some damage to the screws/cover of the thermal control.

That being said, coolerguys have stepped up. They are sending a new thermal control with a RMA to return the old one. Customer service so far has been great and they seem to stand behind their products - even if they didn't sell them direct.

It definitely sounds like something was off with the thermal controller. It's good to hear that other people are having good third party experiences with CG. Hopefully the new one works as it should, because they are great units.
