After years of stagnation, Genesis Microchip Inc. today announced the launch of "Douglas" (FLI10620), its third generation HDTV system-on-a-chip family which will be demonstrated at the 2007 International CEATEC tradeshow in Chiba, Japan. This new product series features 10-bit video quality processing, picture-in-picture channel processing, dual HDMI/HDCP 1.3a inputs, improved 3D Y/C TV decoder, and full DVB-T support.
