EZ Speaker size question

Can you have too much speaker in a room? I have a 17x14 room w/ open walls into the kitchen that I am concerned w/ overpowering w/ floorstanders.

It is possible to have too much speaker in a room, but in that size of a room, you should be fine with floorstanders. Make sure that you don't stuff them into corners though, as the bass could get "boomy" and over-boosted.

From personal experience, I have had 2 sets of floor standers in my room which is 16x12 and it wasn't over kill.
