I have a onkyo 605 avr but I have no intension of using the up scaling fetures I would like to get an outboard scaler/hdmi port replacator for arround 300 bucks. Is that possible?. actually the outboard HMI is a bigger deal for me. why you may ask, I just want te reciever to deal with the audio.portion.
