I have an Harmon Kardon 670 amplifier in my living room. I have used both A and B speakers and would like to use the connected audio devices for my Winter garden as well. Which solution would give the best result.
I am considering connecting Tape Out from the HK to Line In on an integrated amplifier (which I have not bought yet). The reason for not just connecting a speaker switch is that I would like to adjust the level in the wintergarden independantly of the level in my living room (speaker A) and the kitchen (speaker B)
I have read that the tape out has a fixed level but if I connect to a Line In that is no problem I suppose, or is it? Are there any drawbacks on doing this way. Distance between HK and possible new amplifier would be ca 1,5 to 2m.
The speakers in the Winter garden is a pair of Bose 251.
Thanks for all hints and suggestions.
