Ext. In Setup Question On Denon 3806

Yesterday I was reading the 3806 manual, specifically at Setting the EXT. IN Setup section (page 48), and realised that you can have the following setups:

* surround A
* surround B
* surround A+B
* SW level

In my case, the only thing that appears in the setup window is SW LEVEL.

How do I do to get the other options to appear in the OSD to be adjusted??

What are you connecting bluray, sacd, dvda? These are inputs not outputs, which your sub should be connected to sub out.

I have a Panny BD-30 connected to the EXT IN (MC 5.1 analogues).

Once I receive the Oppo 983H, I do plan to connect it thru the 7.1 MC analogues, into the EXT. IN, though.

With my current setup, there ain't no way to have the other options displayed though ( only SW level).

It'll only allow the other options if you've setup the system with a surround B set of speakers. see pg. 75
