I'm desperate for cash, I need to buy a tuba, as well as other important things. Money seems to be the impetus of all the world, so why not have some!

DIY Dayton Bookshelfs.

These probably won't sell, because no one has interest in buying DIY speakers, but I'll try.

Drivers: Dayton RS 6", Dayton RS silk dome tweeter.

Cabinet: Dayton .50cu/feet cabinet. Rear ported. One speaker has a chip in the veneer.

Xover: Dayton 2500hrtz crossover.

I can part out the drivers and Xover if you just want those.

Woofers: $25/each shipped

Tweeters: $15/each shipped

Xover's: $40/each shipped

Entire speaker: 260 for both.

Subwoofer

Dayton 12" subwoofer:

Everyone pretty much says it's the best subwoofer for the price.

$150 shipped (that's still cheaper than getting it from PE btw.

Pioneer VSX-815 receiver

Looks good, has some minor scratched on the top, nothing noticeable unless you are right up on it.

$180 shipped

24" Dayton Triangle (whatever) Speaker Stands.

Pretty much brand new. Got them a few weeks ago. Great stands IMO.

$45 shipped

Thanks for lookin.

I'll post pics if asked.

Perfect condition, comes with everything.

I know you hate to sell your stuff, but you are making a good decision. Good luck with it.

I may have a buyer for the receiver. Problem is I'm in Canada so I wouldn't expect you to cover shipping. What city are you shipping from?

Is the receiver still available?
Does it have all parts?

Thanks,
Eric

Why would you sale your AV stuff for one of those? How much do they cost?
Greg, you apparently had a life this weekend and missed the other thread on this. If I remember correctly, it's around $1500 on up. He's getting one because he's going to college as a music major, and while his high school had tubas to loan, his college does not. At least that's what I recall from the other thread.

So you don't have the microphone to utilize the MCACC setup?
That's mainly what I was wondering. Should have beenm more specific.

Thanks,
Eric

It should have come with a mic for the MCACC auto set-up feature. Some people don't recognize it as a microphone because it looks like a small plastic disc.

I don't recall ever having that. If I did have it, it's gone now.

Did it actually have a purpose? After reading the MCACC thingy on Pioneer's site, it seems kinda lame.

People's mileage varies. The review of that model on this site didn't really sing its praises. I have the 1015, and I thought that it did a nice job (outside of incorrectly setting my speakers to "large" like most of those auto systems do). As far as I know, any microphone will work with it, though.

Any microphones will work, yes, but in general the microphones that come with these units are specifically calibrated to do the job. For the most part you can find the correct microphones on Ebay or directly from the manufacturer.
