I did, today at school that is.


There's this kid, in our schools band, he plays trombone.

I never really liked him, mostly becuase he's extremely annoying, and apperently has the god given right, to be better than you.

Anyways.

He and a few freinds are in the same AP Gov. class, and they are reinacting the constitutional congress (yah, no one really cared)

So I held up a "No one cares" that I wrote on a sheet of paper.



These are the words that insued


"Josh, I would tell you how much you suck at tuba, but I'll let you figure that out at the Bluecoats tryouts"


If there is one thing that you do not do to me, it is that you do not, and I repeat, do not insult my music playing ability.

(Did I emntion that I beat out two seniors for first chair last year, as a junior, and I am section leader this year?)




GOD I WANTED TO BEAT THE LIVING SH#T OUT OF HIM RIGHT THERE!

Btw, this kid got a three, as a senior, on a solo (for those of you who dont know, three's pretty much mean that you are not good at your instrument)

I didnt talk for the rest of the day, I was scared I might say something that would cuase my foot to go up his a$$.

Really, I get the idea of being irked at someone, but it was that person that ended up being mean. You decided to instigate it and take things further... and he responded in kind. You have the guts to insult someone else, better be ready to be insulted in return.

Frankly, if I was your teacher, you would be sitting in detention for disrespecting the hard work, whether you care or not, of another student.

At times I have wanted to "punch" someone but have not acted on such impulses for 35 years or so...50 now...

In my opinion you started the situation with your rude and improper comment. Who cares? Apparently he and his friends did. You slammed him and his work in public and he slammed you back so now you want to hit him. How immature.

For example, when you are in your 40 hour a week job, working the warehouse, and your employer is up in front of the staff, that would be a perfect time for you to hold up a sign just like that.

I bet you'll want to kick his arse after what occurs at that time as well. Of course, you'll likely be busy looking for a new warehouse position.

If you haven't figured it out yet - grow up. The sign IS funny... if you hold it up when a friend is doing his bit. But, when it isn't a friend, then it is antagonistic and purely rude. At the end, there is only one person deserving of a punch, and you see him in the miror every day. Maybe you should work on that.
