I have a fairly eccentric question that might fall outside the genre of home theatre installations, but I figured if anyone would know this one it would be you guys :)

I am preparing to DJ at a medium sized function. My equipment is most likely not the most impressively matched for my demand but for now it seems to be working with the right tweaks. The issue I am having is with a dedicated 15" JBL driver.

I have two Yamaha S12e series PA speakers for my 'tweaters' which is powered by a QSC RMX850 Amp. The question is where do I put the JBL without damaging it? I read that pushing high frequencies will burn out the coil, but what am I to do? If I were to have this device plugged into the amp I would need some type of external crossover or frequency filter I am thinking--does anyone know of such a product? Or perhaps there is another way of doing this?

It's worthy to note that all of the connections from the speakers to amps are the 1/4" mono jacks.

Thank you in advance,
_G
