Epson projector going green....?

Hey guys, My projector is going green, and I don't mean that it's environmentally conscious. A few years ago, I bought an Epson S1+ from a buddy who was in a tight spot financiall, so I only paid 200 bucks. It's served me very well for the past couple of years, and lately my wife and I watch tv on it most nights.

I've noticed that when displaying very dark images, the majority of the center is slightly green tinted, and the rest is a little more blue, or perhaps red - it's hard to tell.

I've never put a new bulb in the projector, but we have excellent ambient light control, so I felt that things would be fine.
Does this sound like a bulb problem, or is the LCD panel dying on me?

I'm pretty sure that the bulb is past it's prime, but I thought that a bulb would show it's age through a dimmer output, not strange colors onscreen.

Thanks!

Ben

This sounds like the LCD panel is getting old. It's probably time to upgrade.
