EP500/SVS PB12-Plus: Which More Musical?

I've read that some subwoofers are considered to be more "musical" than others. If this is so, I'd appreciate your opinions/comments as to which subwoofer, either the Axiom EP500 or the SVS PB-12 Plus, is more "musical," all things being held equal.
