Entry Level Surround Receiver

.....I'm gonna' throw in a thought for the "200 to your door" category....

.....I bought my Son-in-law a JVC receiver....it's a surround receiver, and I knew before I ordered, it was only going to be pushing two mains....but Bob said the unit was amazing, and pointed out it had 120x2, I think it's 120, have slept since....and I thought a great deal of JVC as per receivers and boomboxes in my past, more on the boomboxes later......

.....I don't know the model number of Greg's receiver, or if it's 5.1 or what, but 'listen', after Greg had an opportunity to tweak that remote control from EVERY direction, two days later he had those Electro-Voice 15-inch bass-guitar woofers putting out, 3 times, the authority, fullness, and LOWER CLEAN FREQUENCIES, to what my C-26 and MC-2200 amp could ever get.....

.....granted, there are better amps for low-end than Mac, but that really impressed me about the ultra-cheap JVC.....you guys who read here and are tempted to jump into surround, with processing, and I don't have a clue if the cheap JVC's pre-process or not, I'll say at least, you would have good choices and clean sound really cheap, with GOOD lows....Greg's receiver was $186 to my door....

.....JVC, back in the 90's, had the lowest low-end, produced and projected, by FAR, of ANY, boomboxes or small AC-only threesomes....they REALLY, impressed me, as I owned two boomboxes and one small threesome.....

.....doesn't appear I'll work this week-end either....I'm confused as ever, but still maintaining focus.....spambot out.......

JVC "Hyper Bass" was the bomb, but there was one boombox I liked better. There was a black Sony with dual cassette decks on the very top of the center unit, 2 lcd displays side by side on the upper front and a motorized drawer cd player below the displays...that one had Sony's "Mega Bass" and in the early nineties it was like 10 or 15 wpc.

.....I hear ya', Thunder18, Sony's sure had their moments too, and you probably heard the same, that JVC boom-box with detachable/spreadable speakers honestly put out low concussion which is below pitches....reputed to start about 35 down.....some enclosures claim 35, and to "hear", that 35, your head would have to be INSIDE....but you probably wouldn't hear 35 even then, as an actual db of 70 being produced is within the +/-3db claim-limit....yes, 3 db doubles....on more stats than one......

.....boys, I done blew a leg off....took a wrong turn doing a system's restore....tried to do the back-up thing after, and this came in the little window...."Son, there ain't nuthin' to back up to".....

.....now, I'm not connected wirelessly with this computer upstairs I'm currently on....I tried to will that satellite sender/receiver's green light downstairs to come on, for about two minutes, and gave up....will call sbcglobal.net-support when they're there......I know just enough about this computer to get in deeeeeep trouble, but at least I don't go to the girlie sites as per a past decision....in about four directions.....

.....guys, that girl in the picture ain't really real....and that woman you're married to probably don't look quite as good as that picture, but IS real-life....looking at that picture and your mind absorbing it, can set a precedent your wife just can't match....assign honor, guys, but first apply your common sense, which we'll hope was formed by humans you looked up to....most importantly, I try to realize that everything I do, is what renews my mind, and brings precedents, and priority, into my life.....

.....it's all in the renewing of the mind, I have heard said....do we fill it with honorable things, or shamefully sneak around filling our minds with what society, and our consciences deep-down, consider trash?....don't tell me you grow out of it either.......
