Maybe I'm late to the news but it looks like the RC-LCR, RC10, and RC70 are back - possibly as Vanns exclusives - at least that's where Energy points you to from their website. And they have them at pretty decent prices. All three are on sale right now (see deals section) at pretty good prices. I haven't listened to any of them in years but the RCs used to be pretty decent for the money.

I just listend to the RC70's not to long ago and I was impressed, not a bad speaker at all for the price. Liked them more then the Def Tech's at twice the price.

You have to give them enough juice though otherwise they could sound too lay back.

Not quite sure what you mean, if it's that they should be driven by an AVR with at least reasonably good amps then yes. I would not say they are hard to drive or "power hungry" in any way.
