Hello,

I recently purchased the Energy RC Micro 5.1 after reading rave reviews about the system. I am a typical audiophile. I have hooked up a Yamaha RX-V665 receiver to the system.

Through various set-ups I have optimized the sound for my room(15x20). However, I am trying to get the crisp treble on acoustic cd's, live performances cd's like Pink Floyd etc.

I am not sure if I have set the receiver parameters correct but here they are...

System connections: Fiber optic from DVD-receiver(playing cds), Dig Coax cable box-receiver, monster 14 gauge speaker wires.
Treble +2.0db(since I was trying to get more), Bass 0.0
Cross-over 120Khz
Config : "Small" on F,C, S/W, Surr
Subwfr: 150Khz, volume 0.6

The question remains, will I get more treble from the Micro's or they are at their best with the above settings? Anyone have any experience with the Micro?

Appreciate a response.
