Meijer has Energy RC-LCR speakers on sale for $200ea with free shipping. The price is good through 9/14/12. These can be used horizontally as a center and vertically as left and right speakers - thus the LCR designation. I haven't had a chance to listen to them but they have a good reputation.

I picked up the RC-10's for 200.00 and they utterly floored me. The tweeter is one of the best I have heard. I might have to jump on one of these before they disappear. :D

I actually think there a good bit better than that. In fact the original MSRP seemed quite fair to me. I think it was 550 or 600. However they hold their own if not better many monitors in the 800-1000 range.

I just meant that $200 is an awesome deal. They were a great buy at $300 a couple years ago... but the seemingly never ending supply Klipsch has funneled through Vann's has really pushed the street value down.

But it's still alot of speaker for $200.

The MSRP is probably fair, but with $600 to spend it's not hard to get a better speaker with the sales and closeouts that run. I'll never pay MSRP for a speaker, cause there are always deals to be found.

I agree completely. The past four years for me have been all about finding insane deals online. It's scary what can be found with a little persistence. :)
