Energy C-C1 has landed...now with vitamin C!

Howdy folks,

I finally snapped some shots of the new center after watching my first movie with it (Doom). Its HUGE! 23 inches wide!. The door-stop worked perfectly underneath to give me the correct angle.

I though I didn't notice the different timber of my speakers before (had a difference center channel), but now, it is clear that this center and my C-1's go together like bananas and plugs.

I still can't get over the fact that these speakers (C-C1, C-1) have WBT binding posts. Great feature for the $. Speaking of price, 175! I know some of the other canucks are PO'd at me cause I go a sweet deal.

Uuuugh I'm jealous I really want the C-C1 but I can't exactly afford $200 right now I'm buying a Sony CRT projector this Thursday and I'll have to wait until I save up more money for the center channel. They will go great with my C-3's I'm sure!

I just got my UPS notice today (won't deliver to my office) on my CC1 from Ottawa. Looking forward to getting it set up. Nice looking speaker.

I'll post a few quick thoughts once I have it all set up.

thats a wow price for such a massive center speaker. unfortunately, the savings you made should be used towards a new TV! the speaker has dwarfed your TV

I got it so cheap because the store selling it was closing. Usually the center is 350CAD. The cheapest I saw that center was 200ish, but that was boxing day.
