My current system:
Yamaha RX-V496
Polk R30
Polk CS1
Sony 101 bookshelfs
SVS PB10

I have been trying to pick out some new front speakers. I went out last night and demo'd Klipsch RB-15, Polk RTi4 and the Energy C-100. I wasn't allowed to move the speakers together as they were all over the place in the same big sound room. So I'm not sure if it was location of the speakers but I thought the Energy C-100s sounded the best. So I'm looking for the general opinion on these speakers as the return policy at the place is crap. Though the Energy's are on sale for $79 a piece. Would the speakers be an upgrade from my current ones?

Thanks

I had a chance to listen to them aswell. I found them to be very mellow, and warm sounding, which is odd for an aluminum dome tweeter. Energy seems to be one of the company's that get an aluminum dome tweeter right.

I also thought the C-50 sounded superb too. Great bass extension for the price and size.
