Personally, I would get a pair of Pioneer BS-22's and a Dayton SUB-1200 for $300 (2.1 system). However, if you are set on 5.1 and/or have extreme WAF restrictions, Energy does as good a job as anyone with the mini speakers. I can't think of anything better for $300. Normally $600.
