Anybody know anything about them? Personal experience? Heard anything about their tactics and products? They're always running commercials (NY area) with all sorts of deals.

They have a catchy yet extremely annoying theme song that takes me back to my childhood memories every time I hear it. Thats all I got.

Empire doesn't use industry standard numbers to describe their pile thickness, etc. We did better staying with a local dealer. Doing business with people in your own community is the first step in rebuilding the local economy.

I had them do an estimate and we didn't have many options to choose from. and from reviews they tend to use lower grade carpets.

Dunno about them but I tend to believe you sometimes get what you pay for.

I like to use a local store that's been around forever and depends on local word-of-mouth as opposed to expensive TV advertisements.

They tend to be quite accomodating with pricing and service tends to be excellent. If they weren't comptitive and the service wasn't good, they would have been gone long ago.

Empire is a Chicago based company that went national very recently. I grew up with their commercials. It's pretty damn catchy/annoying. Beyond that, I have no experience with them.

Support your local entrepreneurs and hire them.
