I am very interested in this system, but I'm skeptical about the company. I can not find warranty info on this system anywhere, and audioholics.com does not extend their usual 3 year extended warranty to this product. Plus everyone at the EMP office is out for the night, thus my inquiry phone call was unsuccessful.

Does anyone know the warranty info on the HTP-571T 7.1 Speaker System. Squash my skepticism.

EMP is made by RBH and I believe they carry the same warranty. They are not a white van company, else their products wouldn't be sold thru the Audioholics E-store.

They should list warranty info on their website and thanks for noticing that.

I have the HTP-551T package, minus the sub (already had one) and got a heck of a deal back in August. There is nothing to be skeptical about. They are great speakers. I use mine for music and home theater both. If you are able to get them for the sale price that audioholics is running (assuming it is still going on) then it is a ridiculous deal. If there is anything in particular that you would like to know just ask but I really don't think you can beat them for the price point that they are at.

They really are a steal of a deal. I would go for it, if I were looking for something right now. In fact, I'm tempted to buy some just b/c the price is so good and maybe set up a second room.

Thanks for the responses. I bought the system today. Now the wait.

In the meantime, time to purchase a new receiver while I'm at it. Spending money is fun. I would go with the Onkyo TX-SR606, but not for $400 when I just saw it for $350 yesterday. I should have bought it then. Anybody ever have overheating issues with this system? I love the 4 hdmi inputs, as opposed to the 2 inputs on the other receiver I'm looking at, the Yamaha RX-V663BL. Thoughts?

Give the Onkyo enough room the breath and heat isn't an issue. You can also check out the HK254, Pioneer 1018, Yamaha 663, and Denon 789/1909.

I have about 5 or 6 inches of clearance over mine and I haven't had any heat issues at all. Amazon occasionally has some amazing sells on Onkyo's. I was leaning towards Yamaha before I saw the Onkyo on sale. With the EMP deal and getting the Onkyo 606 on sale, you would be hard pressed to find a better system under $1000
