I know I saw it many times on the top of the AUDIOHOLICs web page, but until I read a post in a thread, I never gave it a thought to look into EMOTIVA.(I just thought I would buy another YAMAHA Reciever when the time came). I don't remember who to thank for my going into their website. But, Emotiva read my mind! I've been WHINE-ING latley how our AV Recievers have turned into the new CELL PHONES. With gagets GALORE, and performance losing space in that BIG BOX, to make room for all this FLUFF going into recievers these days. Well, I'm sold. Man! I love this site!! I do hate to say goodbye to Yamaha after almost 30 years.

Emotiva needs to bring back that Modular amp (1 - 7 Ch).

Sometimes I wish I had not sold mine.

But I also like that 200W Outlaw Monoblock amp. Emotiva needs to come out with something like the Outlaw 2200, but even less expensive, of course.:D

Five 200W monoblocks for $1,324:

I guess it depends on what needs you have also. I saw that 5Ch 200 watt per Ch amp for 799.00 and the AV Processor for 699.00 and feel in love. I can't find anything in that price range that I'm looking for in a AV Reciever. As soon as they come in I'm ordering both.

Better get in on the preorder list for the processor, that thing is going to be a hot item for a while. Emotiva stuff is very good for the money, well worth more than what it sells for.

Your right. And I know that 5 CH amp is going to make my 5 Mythos Speakers sing!

Yes it will... I have the older IPS-1 which is 150x7 and it really juices up my Def Techs, I love to put it in 7 ch. stereo mode while playing guitar hero and jam out really loud like I'm really in a rock concert.

They are, the UPA-1. You can read about it on the emotiva lounge. It will have balanced input, unlike the other UPA series amps.

Well, the Emotiva XPA 5 is on the way. Bought a 'B' stock at 100.00 off. Vincent is a great tech, and patient too. I must have called him 4 times today. MAN! Where would I be without AUDIOHOLICs?!...It scares me to think about it! I would still be in BOSE land and looking at Recievers instead of separates, which is always what I wanted anyway. Now, Emotiva has made that a reality. I'm pinching myself. I'm sorry to be soo excited, but after 25 years of wishing, it is finally time! The UMC-1 won't arrive until MARCH! Talk about your waiting periods.

FYI, you can unscrew those silver front side plates if you like.

They also sell the black front side plates for $20/pr.:D

I MIGHT be willing to sell you my UMC-1 if the price was right. ;)

I bet one XMC-1 pre-pro & five UPA-1 200W Class A/B Monoblocks would be pretty cool.

Does anyone know the status of the XMC-1?
Last estimate on the XMC-1 was for June 2010, but we know how that is.:D

Latest estimate on the UPA-1 monoblocks is for February 2010 in case anyone is interested.:D
