It looks like the UMC-1 just got released for production!

Hi everyone,
Well, here I am in China; very tired and so very happy...

I've spent the last week looking at, reviewing, and listening to the results of Lonnie's teams work on the UMC-1. Wow.

The UMC-1 is done. It works. It works well. Better than well! The sound quality is beyond reproach. The video is stunning. The hardware and software are rock solid. The UMC-1 is a pleasure to use. It's so smooth and quick to respond to commands. No issues, no glitches, no noises, just pure digital bliss.

All functionality is completely enabled and the platform runs so smoothly it is a joy to behold.

I've officially released it to production. The first units will arrive in the USA in mid November. We have non stop production planned over the next three months. We should have all pre-orders filled in January at the latest.

The wait is over. Really!

I'll have much more to say then I get back to the states on Tuesday.

Thank you for keeping the faith and believing in us. It means everything to us.

A special thank you Lonnie, Michael, David, Vikram, Shakreet, Mr. Li, Mr. Lo, Brian, Elaine, Mr. York, EVERYONE who has worked so hard over the last three years on this project.

A good effort. Now hopefully the units will hold up well over time. With a deliberate approach rather then rushing product to market, that is usually the recipe for a superior reliable product.

The world is awash in junk these days, so I admire anyone willing to buck the trend. I wish Dan every success with this product.
