Which pre-amp would you buy?

Emotiva MMC-1

Yamaha RX-V2700

Outlaw 990

RX-V2700, because it has it's own uncolored amplifier.:D That allows you to save more to get an amplifier at a later date.;)

Well since you already have an Outlaw amp, you might as well the the preamp that goes with it.:D

Providing you have space in your rack for the beast! If I had room in mine I would buy in a flash.

I'm shocked that you would prejudice my coloured Outlaw Model 770 amp Seth! :)
In fact, especially when you use a yellow Yamaha!!:) ;) :D

I appreciate the input.
The Yammy has the most features, but I would not be using its amp. that would be wasting a good amp, but I'm certain the Outlaw 770 is a much more robust amp.

I can't comment on the Outlaw. No experience with it.
I have stated in other posts that I have reservations about the Emotiva processors for their lack of internal EQing and, to a lesser extent, auto set-up.

Between Yammy and the Emo, my vote is for the Yammy, hands down.

I wasn't implying that the Outlaw was colored, I didn't even read your sig.;):D The point is, it has an amp. If the Outlaw ever had a problem or you needed zone power for something else you would have the internal amplifiers to aid you.:) Not to mention the Yamaha has the most features, and is the only one that has HDMI audio support.:)
