I was going to order the Ultra 12 Sub tomorrow. I'm getting it after changing my mind on a Polk 505. I've been reading lately about the differences between subs, and keep coming across 'BL' Motor, what does 'BL' stand for, I'm dying to know. It's never explained by manufactures. Thank you.

There are no brushes in a driver. This was answered in another thread already. It is a driver parameter.
Hi J. I thought BL had something to do with cone movement or excursion. But, the letters B and L stump me.
