The LPA-1 is larger than most receivers! By allowing enough space to really flex its muscles, the LPA-1 can drive your system to new heights.
Take a look inside this beast. You'll see a power supply that you could never fit inside a receiver’s chassis. The LPA-1’s power supply features a massive low noise toroid power transformer and large storage capacitors.
The integrated power amplifier modules are fully discrete and utilize high current, high speed, Toshiba power devices. The LPA-1 is rated for 125 watts x 5 channels + 2 x 50 watts into 8 ohms. It is rated at 225 watts x 5 channels + 95 watts x 2 at four ohms.
