Interesting!
He said the E1 surrounds were $229 for a pair. Did he give anymore breakdown of prices? (I missed it if he did).
I was expecting to see the same designs as their active speakers and surprised to see totally different boxes.
If those tweeters work well, this is a pretty significant step.
The biggest concern I have about the measurements is way the curve starts to get vertical as it approaches 20kHz. That looks like it might be some kind of "break-up" mode. While it is certainly out of my hearing range, a tweeter which is breaking up at 22kHz is probably not going to concurrently maintain composure at more audible frequencies. but that is speculation. To me, Emotiva has a bit of a "play it loud" vibe (not a criticism at all), so I suspect they rode these hard in their testing and there is not an issue.

Prices are on the Emo site, these have already been available for a couple of weeks.

We're talking 5 Channels (2 Towers, 1 Center, 2 Book Shelf) for ~$1200!
At these prices, they seem to measure better than I expected. Take the measurements, the price, and the aesthetics, these would seem to make a heck of a budget HT setup.

Compare these measurements to the measurements for the GE T2. To me (and I'm not an expert at reading these FR graphs), it seems like the Airmotiv and the T2 measure fairly similarly.

Yeah, anything above 15kHz and I can't hear it anyway. I suspect that rising FR at the high end may be a good thing for my ears.

Yeah, I wish the FR of the Emo's went up to 25kHz so we could see just how far the spike goes up and if/when it backs down.
