i'm throwing a pretty big party in three hours and i lost my sub amp, i have a ginormous rack mount amp i can use, but i don't have anything to limit it to sub-like frequencies, how do you make a low pass filter? is there any simplish way, i'm relatively well versed in soldering and if i had a schematic i could slap something together, but i can't get to the store, my buddy took my vehicle, please, if anyone has a reccomendation it'd be appreciated, thanks!

If you run your audio through your receiver (via digital), you can use your RX-V 2500's bass management to send only bass frequencies to your amp that can then power your subwoofer.

this is a different setup in the garage and basement, the reciever is 100 feet away, but this setup previously consisted of a six channel mixer, this laptop, a 35 amp switching power supply, a car audio 300 watt amp and car sub in a bandpass box, well, my amp quit, i have a rack mount amp, but i was utilizing the built in crossover that was in the car amp. i wish i had my 2500 down here, but then again i dont, it might get doused with beer :)
thanks! i read something about a low pass filter just consisting of a resistor and a capacitor, if that's the case i have assorted values laying around if i just knew what to use and how, if any has any more insight, thanks!
