Elite 53tx Dolby EX

Hi,

what is the correct method to get
surround back output for a 7.1 setup
with the elite 53tx?

example:

play Lord of the Rings DVD

when the SB mode is set to Auto,
there is no surround back output,
if I set to ON, the 53tx displays Dolby EX.

should I just leave it to ON all time? I don't
understand why the Auto is not detecting
the EX flag?

Is DTS 6.1 NEO just a simulated surround back
or it is the dolby equivalent?

I leave my SB channels on all the time. If you find some movies sound better w/o the rear channels simply turn it off.

Neo:6 is a processing mode similar to DPLII. It adds the surround back channels to movies and music.
