Hey, folks, I got this week a new cd I'm enjoying a lot: Bajofondo Tango Club. Think Astor Piazzolla meets trip-hop. So if this sort of modern sounding tango sounds interesting to you, this stuff is just what you are looking for.

You can listen to samples of this cd at this link:

Anyone else into this stuff?

Demetrio.

If I am going to try this one, I have to know your taste in music. By your age it sholud be close to mine.
I am open to new sounds but in order to invest $$ I must know what I am getting.

Well, I have to say I am very eclectic in my music tastes. I like mainly progressive rock, but I also like classic rock, post & indie rock, new age & ambient music, trip-hop, some fusion stuff and so on.

The music of Bajofondo is just like I described above, that is, sort of tango mixed with trip-hop/ambient.

Give a listen at the samples available at their homepage and at Amazon, there you can have an idea of how this stuff might interest you. ;)

Kind regards,
Demetrio.

I went to their website and listened to what they have. I was surprised, it sounds good. I kind of liked what I heard.

Of course my taste in music is similar to yours. Prog Rock, classic rock etc...
Now I am more into concert DVDs (Dolby Digital and DTS)
