Is the right speaker inoperable for all functions (ie, CD, AM/FM, and turntable) or just the turntable?

YeS It's unoperational for all functions, I've tried tracing the all the wires from the speaker to the turntable to the amp and they all seem to be ok, it's pretty old roughly 1964, so I don't know what it could be

It is almost certainly a blown amp channel. You can confirm it, by switching the speakers to the opposite channel. Make sure the unit is off and unplugged when you do this.

Is this unit tube or solid state?

I'm guessing the 1964 model didn't come with a CD player. :D

You need to physically rewire the speakers into the opposite amp channel to do the test.

If it is tube, and at that date it likely is, see if all the tubes are glowing.
