My new room is now nearing completion. I have a collection of ASC Tube Traps that I've used in the past to good effect. They've always been placed in the corners per usual practice. Unfortunately the new room has a door that opens onto one of the rear corners making placement in that corner impossible (an unavoidable layout constraint). It could stand about 3" out from the corner. Room is W12.5' x L22' x H7.75'. Hence 1 trap would be in the rear corner while the other would be about 1/3 out from the corner.
Anybody have real world experience with this situation? Having the trap outside the corner would certainly look odd. But would any benefit still be expected? Yeah, I know, "just try it and find out." But that's still a few weeks away and I'm interested in any thoughts in the meantime. Thanks and cheers,
