Always in front of the bank or grocery store. Someone should invent a repellent. Something that will drive those troublemakers away. Mosquito is a 17 kHz buzz designed to be used outside storefronts to annoy “anti-social” youth. I swear, this sounds like the 50’s. I half expected their marketing literature to be filled with pictures of little Fonzies with cigarettes rolled up in their sleeves, hanging out on a set of steps.

Can most cell phone speakers produce a clean 17KHz sound without distortion?

I may have to biwire a couple of phones into my system?

I don't think "clean" is one of the requirements for cell phone sound.

Nowadays they're using 'em for music listening (and watching videos?) and that's about as far from high fidelity sound as one can get.

These "kids" are a real problem in the UK

I have a good friend who lives there and he tells me all kinds of stories about how out of control the teenagers over there are. There were some laws passed over there that make it a major offence to smack around those that need it and the kids know this and throw it in their faces.

For example my friend saw a 14yr old kid cussing out his Grandmother, calling her every nasty name for a women in the book, really giving her a hard time. He confronted the little bast@#d who then just laughed in his face saying "what are you going to do about it, you touch me and your going to jail".

I guess this is what we have to look forward to in the States, the way things are heading. Why does it take "kids" so long to grow up nowdays compared to a generation or two ago? I even hear these 19, 20 year olds refer to themselves as "kids". I certianly did not refer to myself, or act, like a kid when I was there age
