Confusing the radical loud mouths with the mainstream folks is problematic at best. I blame Katrina on racism, incompetence and idealism.

Racism led to mistrust, Incompetence led to a poor evacuation plan, idealism led people to believe it was safe to live in a town that must pump water out to stay above sea level while that town was on the Hurricane infested gulf coast. Sin certainly caused it to be the disaster it was, but it wasn't the stuff many Christians seem to harp on.

I think the lack of education overall has led to the issues we face. Few Christians understand their own history, theology and scripture. Raising a country of lazy idiots is our greatest danger. I tire of the constant hate directed toward the people of Islam who historically calmed down centuries before we did.

I was having lunch with a couple of guys I worked with at a place called 'Old Country Buffet' and the floor suddenly started vibrating. We looked over and it was four ginormous people, earthquaking their way to the food line. It was horrific- women were tucking their children under their arms in an attempt to get out of their path, men were crying and screams of "Run for your lives! They're coming this way!!!!!!!" would have been heard outside if these behemoths hadn't absorbed the sound.

And the latest in today's paper was the call for prayers and 4 small quakes were registered. I think that what causes the quakes, not the women
