Pittsburgh had a bunch of great concerts! My father & I had a deal going on, that he would purchase my tickets as long as I went to a show of his choosing per each rock concert I went to! It actually introduced me to a-lot of music that I probably would have missed. Daddy loved Jazz, so not only did I see all the groups I Loved , Deep Purple, (1st concert), Jethro Tull, Springstein, Yes, Led Zepplin, Allman Brothers, Steeley Dan, geeze it never ended...but I also saw EXCELLENT tours of talented artists that I'll never forget like Manfred Mann, George Benson, Chick Corea, Weather Report, too many to even try to name! I tried to save all my ticket stubs & then wrote on them, who I went with & what we enjoyed that evening. Best of all, I enjoyed most of the jazz concerts with my Daddy! Those were definitely The Best Days of my Life! Oh, & of course our home music system was top notch! The kind that you hang the speakers out the windows, for all to enjoy, except perhaps the neighbors whom didn't quite understand our type of entertainment!
