Hello fellows, can someone help me with my EAC questions? Thanks.
1) I downloaded the latest version of EAC, 99 prebeta 4, and I saw that it contained FLAC in it already. I was told that even though the most recent version of EAC has FLAC in it already, that you still should download FLAC separately and point EAC to it. Can anyone help me with this one. Thanks.
And if I need to download FLAC, can you direct me to a good site for this and since there is so much choice when I get to a download site can you tell me specifically which one to choose. I'm running windows vista.
2) Also, when I am setting up EAC for a rip and I want the best archival quality that I can get, should I choose compressed or uncompressed? Thanks.
3) To set up my external compression does this code look o.k. or is there better. I'm looking for good archival quality rips to FLAC. Thanks. Here is the code that I've been given:
-V -8 -T “artist=%a” -T “title=%t” -T “album=%g” -T “date=%y” -T “tracknumber=%n” -T “genre=%m” %s
