So the platinum version is the same as the Signature/MK2 version but all the exposed metal was painted black? How much is this audiophile grade paint worth?

This has got to be one of the weirdest new releases, a new "series" that is only differentiated by painted over some metal. I mean is there any difference between this and the MK2s? Do these have a 20 year warranty or something?
