So i've been thinking about getting a Dynaco St-70 tube amp and using it and then modding it more and more as I learn more and more about it. Does anyone here have any expirience with the st-70?

That is a good place to start. There are plenty of kits to mod them out there.

Try this site www.dynaco-doctor.com .This is J Curcio's site he is well known for Dyna mods and rebuilds. His own gear isn't bad either.
