 Im kinda confused on the DYI cable design.....

Buying 12/4 cable from home depot to be used as speaker cables

Do I use only the 2 conductors inside per banana, cut the other 2 inside the cable jacket(not used) = 1 conductor per banana ?

or do I use the 2 conductors per banana?

Reason Im asking is that if the conductor guage is 12 will (2) conductors fit inside a single bannan lug so that i can use all 4 into 2 banana lugs.

I would use 2 conductors per banana if I could. Whether that will work or not depends on the bananas you purchase. Two 12ga wires is equivalent to a 9ga wire, so make sure the terminations you buy can handle this much copper.

There is pretty much no time when you will EVER need that much wire. That is so beyond overkill, it isn't even funny; a single 12awg run is already plenty for all but the most extreme cases. I'd say just go with 12/2 and be done with it. 2 12ga cables probably won't fit in the average banana.

I would just use 2 of the wires and save the other 2 for any furture upgrades.
Also, was the 1800ES frychicken model with 1 million ampules of filtered power rated in 8 ohms??? :D

While all above are correct, you'll see an order of magnitude lower inductance by doubling up the red and black wires in one banana and the white and green wires in the other banana. And if you go to Lowes instead of the HD and get the rubber sheathed 12/4 cable with the white polyethelene filler, you will have a cable the will beat the shi er resistance out of any cable in both Audioholics cable shoot outs. And the 10/4 while being even more overkill is better yet.
