Dvi/hdmi/component Connection

my system is as follows:

Denon 3805 receiver
Denon 5900 dvd player
High def cable box w/dvi output
pioneer plasma w/hdmi inputs

What is the best way to hook it up, also considering best possible picture and sound.

Can you list the outputs for the Denon items, and does your TV have DVI-D?

The Denon receiver has a component out, while the DVD player has a DVI out. My TV has two HDMI inputs. I was thinking of a DVI/HDMI cable from the DVD player to the TV and a DVI/HDMI cable from the cable box to the TV. Any thoughts?

That would be the best route for the best video signal.
