I won the contest givaway a couple months ago.
And prior to this cable had used a no-name HDMI
cable to run Cable box to the TV.
BOY am I glad I won this little beauty....
My girlfriend comes over for movies and to watch
some HBO series shows.
After installing the new cable, I immeditaly noticed
a difference in the image quality. She came over to watch ROME
a few weeks ago, and I dont talk tech with her so it was totally on her own,
said whats different here? She said that she could see details in the background of
set on Rome that she didnt notice befor. She even asked me if I'd gotten a replacment
set or something. At first I didnt think much of it and just thought it was the better bottle of wine we were drinking. Then the next day she pointed out the blue cable in back of the set was different, thats when it hit me! It wasnt a new Monitor, it was the upgraded cable!
Way to go DVI Gear!
Now I'm on the lookout for a good deal on a DVD Player that has the HDMI output option, that will upvert to 1080i! And I have to say the new cable and switcher needed will be bought from DVIGear, unless I win one!!!
