That is a good question, What is the Difference between the Computer DVI Cable and the Home Video DVI cable???
There are 3 different kinds of DVI cable. does it matter?

Well, lets see, DVI-I handles for analog and Digital files, whereas, DVI-D is Digital only. The connections are different, but are compatible if one is DVI-I on one end and the other source is DVI-D. DId you read article on the home page on this stuff. If you go Ramelectronics.com they talk in depth on this with pics.

I recently bought a new Samsung LCD TV and it has a DVI-D connection and 2 analog RCA audio right new to it. So, if yours is anything like mine, you'll have the DVI-D. IF you look at the DVI connection, if it doesnt have 4 small pins on the right, it is DVI-D. LIke I said, go to Ramelectronics.com and they have pics of both connections so you can tell which is which :)
